Delhi Police Constable 2026: Syllabus, Cut Off, Salary & Dates

SSC holds this exam to recruit Constables (Executive), male and female, for Delhi Police. Candidates first take a 100-mark computer based test, then a Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) conducted by Delhi Police, followed by document verification and a medical exam.

How selection works

Candidates are shortlisted for PE&MT from CBT marks, about 12 times the vacancies in each category, and the physical test is only qualifying. Those who pass PE&MT and document verification are placed in merit on the basis of CBT marks. Ties are broken by marks in Part A (GK), then Part B (Reasoning), then the older candidate, then alphabetical order of name.

What is the qualification for Delhi Police Constable?
You must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board. Male candidates also need a valid LMV driving licence (motorcycle or car) by the physical test date.
What is the age limit for Delhi Police Constable?
18-25 years (as on 1 July 2025 in the last cycle). SC/ST get 5 extra years, OBC 3, and wards of Delhi Police personnel can apply up to 29.
