Everything about SSC Selection Post

How selection works

Candidates must first score the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT: 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for other categories. Shortlisting for document scrutiny is done post-wise and category-wise from the normalised CBT scores. Where the post needs typing, data entry or computer skills, a qualifying skill test follows. Ties are broken by total normalised CBT marks, then Part-A (General Intelligence), then Part-B (General Awareness), then Part-C (Quantitative Aptitude) marks, then date of birth (older first), and finally alphabetical order of name.
