Educational qualification

Physical standards
PET (qualifying). Male: lift and carry 35 kg for 100 m in 2 minutes in one chance without putting it down; run 1000 m in 4 min 15 sec in one chance. Female: lift and carry 20 kg for 100 m in 2 minutes in one chance; run 1000 m in 5 min 40 sec in one chance. PwBD and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from PET.
Other conditions
Nationality: Citizen of India, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee who came before 1 Jan 1962, or person of Indian origin from notified countries (with eligibility certificate), as per notice.
Medical standard depends on the post (A-2, A-3, B-1 or C-1). Only one application to one RRB is allowed; multiple applications lead to disqualification.
