Everything about SSC CHSL

How selection works

Tier 1 only shortlists candidates, with separate lists for LDC/JSA and for DEO posts. Final merit uses Tier 2 Sections I and II (out of 360), with normalisation where the exam runs in several shifts. The Computer Knowledge module and the typing/skill test must be cleared but do not add marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for others. Posts are allotted on merit and the post preferences you give, followed by document verification. (CHSL 2026 notice)
