In CHSL 2026, each section has its own 15-minute time slot. Tier 1 only shortlists candidates for Tier 2. Scores from different shifts are normalised.
Tier 2 - Session I

Each question carries 3 marks. Merit uses Section I + Section II (180 + 180 = 360 marks). Section I and Section II get 1 hour each, and Computer Knowledge gets 15 minutes.

Qualifying only. DEO in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, SSC and the Ministry of Culture: 15,000 key depressions per hour. Other DEO posts: 8,000 key depressions per hour. LDC/JSA typing: 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
