Physical standards
Height - SI Delhi Police: Male 170 cm (hill areas/North-East 165, ST 162.5); Female 157 cm (hill areas/North-East 155, ST 154). Chest (male, Delhi Police): 80 cm unexpanded, 85 cm expanded (ST 77/82). SI CAPFs: Male 170 cm (hill areas 165, Gorkha 157, ST 162.5, ST of North-East 157); Female 157 cm (hill/North-East 155, ST 154). SI (Fire) CISF: Male 170 cm (hill/Gorkha/North-East 165, ST 162.5). PET - Male: 100 m in 16 sec, 1.6 km in 6.5 min, long jump 3.65 m, high jump 1.2 m, shot put (16 lb) 4.5 m. Female: 100 m in 18 sec, 800 m in 4 min, long jump 2.7 m, high jump 0.9 m (3 chances for jumps and shot put). Ex-Servicemen skip PET but must pass PST. Medical: distant vision 6/6 better eye, 6/9 worse eye. (CPO 2026 notice)

Male candidates for SI Delhi Police need a valid LMV (motorcycle and car) driving licence by the PE&MT date. NCC bonus: 'C' 5%, 'B' 3%, 'A' 2% of maximum marks.
