Age is counted as on 01-01-2026 (CEN 06/2025 and 07/2025); 01-01-2027 for the new CEN 06/2026 and 07/2026.

Physical standards
No PET. Each post has a medical standard: Station Master and Goods Train Manager A-2; Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk B-2; Junior Accounts Assistant, Senior Clerk, Accounts Clerk and Junior Clerk C-2; Trains Clerk A-3. Failing the medical standard of a post means no appointment to that post.
Other conditions
Nationality: Indian citizen (subjects of Nepal/Bhutan and certain other categories are also eligible as per the CEN)
A candidate can apply to only one RRB per CEN; multiple applications lead to rejection. Graduates may also apply for the Undergraduate CEN.
