Screening test only; marks are not counted in the final merit. Minimum qualifying marks: UR 40%, EWS 40%, OBC-NCL 30%, SC 30%, ST 25%. Shortlisting for CBT-2 is 15 times the community-wise vacancies, zone (RRB) wise.

Merit-deciding. Same minimum qualifying percentages as CBT-1. Graduate and Undergraduate papers are separate, with the level of questions matching the eligibility.
CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test)
For Station Master (and Traffic Assistant) in the Graduate CEN. Candidate needs a minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery; no negative marking. Final merit for these posts: 70% weightage to CBT-2 and 30% to CBAT. Shortlist: 8 times the vacancies.
Typing Skill Test (CBTST)
For Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist (Graduate) and Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist (Undergraduate). Speed: 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi. Qualifying only; marks not added to merit. Shortlist: 8 times the vacancies. Blind/low vision and certain PwBD candidates (40% or more) are exempted.
