RRB NTPC Graduate 2026 important dates

Details filled in “Create an Account” (name, date of birth, mobile, email, Aadhaar details) and the chosen RRB cannot be changed even in the modification window. If you created an RRB account in 2024, 2025 or 2026, log in with the same account.

RRB NTPC Graduate vacancy 2026 vs 2025 – post-wise and category-wise

Total vacancies fell from 5,810 (CEN 06/2025) to 3,548 – −2,262 (−38.9%). Station Master (615 posts last year) and Traffic Assistant (59) are not notified this time. Goods Train Manager is still the biggest post with 2,750 vacancies – 78% of the total.

Post-wise vacancy, pay and medical standard

Age limit 18–33 for all four posts. Candidates who had LASIK surgery cannot apply for Goods Train Manager (medical standard A-2); they can apply for the B-2 and C-2 posts.

Category-wise vacancy

Ex-servicemen (351) and PwBD (65: VI 25, LD 18, HI 16, MD 6) vacancies are horizontal – they are counted inside these category numbers.

RRB NTPC Graduate 2026 vacancy – RRB, zone / PU and category-wise

Each RRB recruits for one or more railway zones or production units (PU). This is the full vacancy table of Annexure B – choose your RRB or post, or switch to last year's (CEN 06/2025) table.

After the final result, the RRB allots the post and zone / PU as per your merit, choice, medical standard and vacancies. Once empanelled, you cannot be considered for another post in the same pay level.

RRB NTPC Graduate 2026 selection process and exam pattern

1. 1st Stage CBT – screening test, common for all four posts. Normalised marks decide who goes to CBT-2: 15 times the community-wise vacancies of each RRB.
2. 2nd Stage CBT – final merit. Candidates equal to the vacancies (1:1) are called for document verification.
3. Document verification & medical examination.

⌨️ No typing test and no aptitude test this time: the Computer Based Typing Skill Test for Senior Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist is dispensed with for CEN 06/2026, and there is no CBAT because Station Master and Traffic Assistant are not notified. Your CBT-2 marks decide your post. Typing will be checked after joining – practise typing free on RealMocks so it does not delay your confirmation.

• Each question 1 mark; negative marking 1/3 for every wrong answer
• 120 minutes for PwBD candidates who use a scribe
• Minimum qualifying marks: UR / EWS 40%, OBC-NCL / SC 30%, ST 25% (PwBD may get 2 marks relaxation)
• Tie: older candidate first, then given name in A–Z order
• No calculator · mock tests on the official website before the exam

RRB NTPC Graduate cut off – RRB-wise CBT-1 (CEN 06/2025)

Normalised CBT-1 marks (out of 100) of the last candidate shortlisted for CBT-2 in last year's Graduate exam, for every RRB and post. Use it to set your target for 2026 – and compare with the change in your RRB's vacancies (last two columns).

– = cut off not given (no vacancy or not released). Muzaffarpur RRB's cut off is not available. SM = Station Master, TA = Traffic Assistant (notified in 2025 only). These are CBT-1 shortlisting marks, not final selection marks.

RRB NTPC Graduate CBT-2 cut off – aptitude and typing test shortlisting (CEN 06/2025)

Last year, CBT-2 marks were used to shortlist candidates for the aptitude test (CBAT – Station Master, Traffic Assistant) and the typing test (CBTST – Junior Accounts Assistant and Senior Clerk Cum Typist). These are the normalised CBT-2 marks of the last candidate shortlisted, RRB-wise and zone / PU-wise. In 2026 there is no CBAT or CBTST, so CBT-2 marks decide selection directly – this table shows the CBT-2 level you need to aim for.

– = not given or not visible in the RRB notice. CBAT tables of Jammu-Srinagar, Patna, Prayagraj and Siliguri RRBs had no rows. Final selection cut off for CCTS and Goods Train Manager is not included.

How to apply for RRB NTPC Graduate 2026

1. Open the unified RRB website rrb.indianrailways.gov.in and go to CEN 06/2026.
2. Create an Account with your own mobile number and email (skip if you already have an RRB account from 2024–2026). Verify with Aadhaar / DigiLocker.
3. Log in and fill Personal details, Other details, Educational qualification, upload photo / signature / documents, then choose your zone / PU and post preferences.
4. Preview carefully, submit, and pay the fee online by 08.11.2026. Keep your registration number safe.

Give a preference for every post and zone you are willing to join – a post you leave out is treated as “not willing”. Apply to only one RRB, only once.
