Educational qualification

Physical standards
No physical test. Hindi typing test (25 wpm) for posts that need it.
Other conditions
Nationality: Citizen of India (as per the UPPSC notification). Reservation and age relaxation only for permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
Only the most beneficial single age relaxation is given. Candidates still appearing in the qualifying exam are not eligible. Preference: 2 years in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' certificate.
